Here are the core beliefs that three16 is founded on, all supported by Bible references.

The Bible is the final infallible word of God, Written by men, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The old testament pointing towards the coming Messiah. The new testament revealing Him.

2 Tim 3:16

The Godhead is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Divine, distinct, yet indivisible. Uncreated and almighty, co existing from eternity and sharing the attributes of total perfection.

1 John 5:7 Col 1:15a Col 1:19 2 Cor 13:14 Acts 5:3-4 Matt 28:18-19 Heb 9:14

The Father is the author and source of all things. He spoke and it was. Unseen, everything that He created He did so through

The Son, who is the eternal word of the Father. Existing with Him, the Son of God became man and was revealed as Jesus Christ. This history changing birth was only possible through the power of

The Holy Spirit, who is the very nature of both Father and Son. Binding all three together as one almighty and holy God.

Gen 1:1 John 1:1-3 John 1:14 Rom 8:9 Heb 9:14 1 John 1:1-4

Creation is the work of God. In six days He created everything that exists in the natural world. We believe that intelligent design is the only possible explanation for the complexities of our universe.

Gen 1:1-31 John 1:1-3 Col 1 15-17

Humanity is the pinnacle of Gods creation. Formed in the image of God and, like God, formed of three distinct yet indivisible parts. We are body, soul and spirit, masterfully knitted together as one. Through Adam’s rebellion the human race inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God; man is totally depraved and in himself utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.

Gen 1:26-27 Eph 2:1-3

Salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is impossible to achieve reunion, and therefore eternal life, with God in any other way.

Eph 2:8-10 John 1:12 Eph 1:7 1 Pet 1:18-19

Baptism by submersion in water was both demonstrated and taught by Jesus. It is not essential for salvation, but is a public declaration of our identification with Jesus' death and His resurrection.

Rom 6:4-5 Col 2:11-13

The church is comprised of all people who have been joined together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It's purpose is to express His glory, kingdom and will in the earth today. This involves a lifestyle of discipleship in order to equip and mature the believer to minister the truths and principles of God’s word.

Matt 16:17-19 28: 19-20 John 13:34-35 Col 3:16-17
